Experience the Vision

One of the goals of our church is to provide opportunities for you to "plug-in" and engage your spiritual gifts as a vital part of the local church body. Here are a few ways for you to connect and plug-in:

Worship Ministry
Calumet offers a range of ministries for all age groups within the church, from infants to senior adults. Children, youth, women, men, senior adults, and the musically inclined all have a place here at Calumet.

Meeting every Sunday morning at 10AM, Sunday School provides a time of fellowship and Bible study for all age groups.

The WMU meets the second Wednesday of every month for Bible study. They also head up various mission projects such as prisoner packets, Country Santa, and many others.

Music Ministry
"Come let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the rock of our salvation."
Calumet offers "Kids of Praise and Song" (K.O.P.S.) every Sunday night from 6:15 -7:00 PM. For the the musically inclined adults, the Adult Choir meets every Wednesday night at 7:45 PM for practice. They also sing every Sunday for the morning and evening worship services.

Our children meet every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM for games and Bible study. All children are welcome.

Weekly Prayer Meeting
Join on us Wednesday evenings at 7 PM to spend some quality time with the Lord at our weekly prayer meeting.

Youth grades 7-12 meet on Wednesday nights upstairs in the youth room at 7 PM for Bible study and fellowship. They also participate in various mission projects throughout the year, including a summer week-long mission trip and a weekend winter retreat.

The Happy Group is for those age 55 and over. The group meets the first Monday of every month at 6 PM for fellowship and a meal. While some meals are potluck and shared in our fellowship hall, The Happy Group also enjoys outings to local restaurants.

The Homebound and Shut-In Ministry at Calumet Baptist Church reaches out to the members of our church who are no longer able to attend regular services. We encourage every member to remember the homebound members of our church with a visit, card, or call. We spotlight a different homebound member every week. It is a true blessing to the homebound members and their family and caregivers to be remembered, and we hope that each member of the church will take an active part in this ministry.

Help our church grow by online outreach and spreading the news of our church happenings and opportunities online. Connect to our church, community, and world through social media to help carry out the Great Commission.

Join us as we minister to the children of our church and community in a fun, creative way that they can understand. Each summer we dive into God's Word and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. If you love kids—or if you just love sharing God's love with the community—this is the ministry for you!
