Experience the Vision

Sometimes life circumstances prevent church members from coming to weekly services. At Calumet Baptist, we understand that just because a member isn't able to attend services, their need for a loving, devoted church family doesn't disappear. In fact, that need only increases when health or life circumstances prevent weekly fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Calumet Baptist is committed to reaching out to the homebound and shut-in members of our church. Pamphlets with the contact information for our homebound members are located throughout the church. We encourage members to take a pamphlet and add our homebound members to their daily prayer list. We also encourage every member to remember the homebound and shut-in members of our church family with a card, phone call, or visit—not only on their birthday but throughout every month. These visits, cards, and calls mean so much to not only the members, but their families as well.

If you are interested in helping with the homebound ministry of Calumet Baptist Church, please contact Kay Tillotson or Nancy Gantt for more information.
